Selection of stores to be expanded: New Yorker and HalfPrice to open in spring

Fashion and entertainment center Riga Plaza plans to invest EUR 5 million in its development over the next year and a half. Several new stores, including New Yorker and HalfPrice, are planned to open in the spring, providing visitors with an even more diverse and extensive offer.

“We are actively working on expanding our network of partners and diversifying the shopping center’s assortment in order to provide Riga Plaza visitors with the fullest and highest quality offer possible. We will continue our strategic direction by expanding and diversifying the range of offers. Over the next 18 months, we are planning to make a significant investment of more than EUR 5 million, which will be used for the development, improvement and opening of new stores,” says Hannes Pihl, Member of the Board of Summus Capital.  

The largest New Yorker concept store in Latvia will open on the 1st floor of Riga Plaza, with an area of 1,600 square meters. It is one of Europe’s favorite fashion chains for young people, offering clothing, accessories and footwear at affordable prices.

The largest HalfPrice store in Latvia will open on the 2nd floor of Riga Plaza and will cover 1,800 square meters. The HalfPrice store will offer clothing, footwear, accessories and homeware from more than 3,000 world-famous brands at attractive prices. HalfPrice is part of the CCC Group, one of the largest footwear retailers in CEE.

This year, several new stores opened in Riga Plaza – Bella Gold, Askona, Bubble Bee, Vitamins.lv, Tommy Hilfiger and Lee Cooper. The range of services has also been expanded with the opening of a BAO electrical appliances drop-off point, a Bolt electric scooter charging station and a new children’s playground. Electric car charging stations are planned by the end of the year.
